Welcome to the blog and hub page of the 2Blades Group in Norwich. We are a translational research site of the 2Blades Foundation and are embedded in The Sainsbury Laboratory. Here we work with our colleagues to advance durable disease resistance solutions to help ensure food security. This page links to research programs of the 2Blades Foundation (see below) as well as blogs and curated literature pages from group members.
If you would like to know what it would be like to work in the 2Blades Group, please check out our blog.

Soybean Rust
In the 2Blades Group at The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) we aim to understand the basic biology of the obligate biotrophic fungus Phakopsora pachyrhizi, the causal agent of Soybean rust (SBR). We are using this knowledge to develop and deploy durable and race-independent resistance in collaboration with industry and the Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
